Aspin
Park Primary School sits in large grounds on the edge of the town of
Knaresborough, North Yorkshire.
The children here are able to benefit from large grassed
areas, a wildlife area and a school garden where children are encouraged
to grow their own
produce. The school is made up of two buildings, Abbey and
Fountains and there is a feeling of space for the children to move easily
around the school.

is an outstanding school that enjoys high levels of support and confidence
from parents and the community" - Ofsted

Despite
having around 420 pupils in the school, making it one of the largest
in North Yorkshire, Aspin staff and pupils aim to generate a 'small
school' ethos with children of all ages mixing with each other at
playtimes and lunchtimes.
