school...' - OfSTED report April 2007 |

Hello and
welcome to the Aspin Park Primary School website. This website is
designed not only to promote all the fantastic things that happen
here, but also to allow prospective parents to get a real insight
into the school. This website is regularly updated, and certain
aspects of the site are due for renewal in the near future, so keep
watching!
I joined the school myself in
September 2007, and am thankful to the wonderful school community
for making my first year so enjoyable. Having previously been
Head Teacher of two schools in York I am very much aware of the
challenges faced by schools, and here at Aspin we endeavour to make
the children’s time with us as enjoyable as possible.

write a regular newsletter (fortnightly sometimes weekly) and if you
wish to access any of my newsletters you are able to via this
website.
The school has had many successes
recently not least of which was the ‘outstanding’ judgement
given to the school by OFSTED in April 2007. It is my job along with
the staff, governors, parents and children of the school to maintain
that judgement next time around.
However things will inevitably
evolve in the time before the next inspection in a couple of years
time, and I fully intend to use this website to regularly update on
progress, as well as all of the other exciting events that go on
over the year!
